Programs for Children & Adults

COVID-19 has changed and altered so many of our paths including the natural development and socialization of our children. There is no better time to try Nature based Occupational Therapy as an alternative to a standard clinic setting. Wait lists are long for in-person OT and virtual is most often not the best option for neurodiverse kids & adults.

At Larchwood Nature OT we are developing courage, confidence, coordination and deep care for our precious environment in all of our clients. Nature offers many opportunities for supporting development of the mind, muscles, senses, and emotions. Our groups also target social development and help lessen social anxiety, highlight diversity, promote cooperation, team building and problem solving in children.

Larchwood Nature Occupational Therapy Scholarship

This scholarship supports sending a child to our Nature OT Camp, held each summer at Larchwood Farm. This unique camp has been developed to provide a safe space for our neurodiverse kids to enjoy OT led activities. We have a high adult to child ratio each week and provide extensive training to the team to safely support the children in dysregulation.
