Our Team

Sophie Wong, OTA

Sophie is an Occupational Therapist Assistant at Davis Occupational Therapy, currently in her second year of practice. She supports neurodivergent clients of all ages using creative, client-centered strategies grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming approach. She holds an undergraduate degree in Health Studies with a minor in Psychology from the University of Toronto and plans to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy in the near future. Her passion for the field began during the final year of her undergraduate studies, where she provided one-on-one support to preschool-aged children with special needs. This experience deepened her appreciation for the meaningful impact occupational therapy can have in helping individuals achieve their goals. Her current areas of focus include emotional regulation, fine motor development, and sensory-based interventions. She is also deeply passionate about nature-based therapy—an interest sparked during her time volunteering at Larchwood Camp. She believes that the sensory input offered in natural environments is not only vital for child development but also supports mental and physical well-being across the lifespan. Sophie is committed to creating inclusive, empowering spaces where clients feel safe, supported, and capable as they work toward their goals.

Sophie supports clients aged 3-17 and adults.
