Our Team
Lily McClelland, OTA
Lily is a new Occupational Therapist Assistant at Davis Occupational Therapy. She first joined Davis in 2023 through her work at Larchwood Camp, where she was introduced to nature-based occupational therapy techniques and developed a passion for supporting neurodiverse youth. A recent 2025 graduate from Dalhousie University, Lily holds an undergraduate Psychology degree with a minor in Philosophy, and plans to pursue an eventual Masters and career in psychotherapy. She views her academic training and OTA practice as working hand-in-hand, giving her both the knowledge base and practical experience to empower her clients while preparing her for her future as a therapist. Alongside her work with Davis, she is completing an internship with an academic and life coaching company for neurodiverse individuals, where she continues to learn how best to offer genuine and individualized support.
Being a neurodivergent person herself, Lily also brings lived insight to her practice. She is dedicated to creating safe spaces where children can explore their areas of growth and build skills, while being celebrated for showing up authentically, supported in emotional regulation, and encouraged toward meaningful play and connection. An avid hiker, camper, and outdoors lover, she values the role that nature can play in supporting well-being and views it as a natural complement to OT practices.
Her occupational therapy experience includes volunteering, camp counselling, and OTA practice with clients ages 5–12, and she looks forward to continuing further work with Davis OT.
