Bianca McNaughton

Bianca (she/her) is a communications professional, OTA, and aspiring Occupational Therapist. Graduating from Carleton University with a Bachelors of Communications and Media Studies with a double minor in Sociology and Women and Gender Studies, she entered the non-profit sector with a passion for helping others.

Bianca has experience supporting individuals across a range of abilities, with a particular focus on neurodivergent children and youth. Her background includes working as both a gymnastics coach and physical therapy assistant for children with disabilities and as a personal support worker helping with activities of daily living. As someone who is neurodivergent herself, Bianca brings lived experience to her work and strives to create safe, affirming, and empowering spaces that foster growth. She believes that nature is a great therapeutic environment where anyone can safely face unexpected challenges with trusted support. Now, she is working on her application for a Masters of Occupational Therapy as she gains experience here at Davis OT.

Outside of Davis you can usually find her doing something active (anything from weightlifting to a zumba class!) or working on another passion, creating custom press-on nails.
