Bianca McNaughton

Bianca (she/her) is a communications professional and aspiring Occupational Therapist. Graduating from Carleton University in 2021 with a Bachelors of Communications and Media Studies with a double minor in Sociology and Women and Gender Studies, she entered the non-profit sector with a passion for helping others.

She's had many roles working with individuals with a varying range of disabilities in her life including as a gymnastics coach for people with disabilities, mainly working with neurodiverse children. She was also a personal support worker for students with disabilities at her university, assisting with activities of daily living. She is a certified personal trainer as well who prioritizes working with individuals who benefit from less traditional forms of training and/or require accessibility accommodations. Her work always incorporates intersectionality and an understanding of the barriers people face living in an inaccessible society. Now, she is working on her application for a Masters of Occupational Therapy as she gains experience here at Davis OT.

Outside of Davis you can usually find her doing something active (anything from weightlifting to a zumba class!) or working on another passion, creating custom press-on nails.
