Alanna Davis, OT Reg. (Ont.)

With more than 20 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, I support adults who are:

  • Navigating a new ADHD, autism, or other neurodiversity diagnosis

  • Managing short- or long-term disability requirements

  • Preparing to return to work or school after a leave

  • Identifying and advocating for workplace or academic accommodations

  • Looking for practical ways to improve daily life, well-being, and participation

My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and grounded in real life. I am not here to change who you are. Instead, we will work together to understand what is getting in the way and identify strategies that make daily life feel more manageable.

Treatment may involve exploring routines, environments, sensory needs, executive functioning, emotional barriers, and the activities that matter most to you. Together, we will test different approaches, build on what is already working, and find practical strategies that fit your life. We will remain curious through both the good days and the more difficult ones.

Office Ergonomics

I also provide office ergonomic assessments in home offices and workplaces. These assessments focus on improving comfort, accessibility, productivity, and overall fit between you and your work environment.

During an assessment, I may:

  • Adjust your workstation and equipment

  • Provide education on positioning, movement, and work habits

  • Identify environmental barriers or risk factors

  • Recommend equipment or products based on your individual needs

Training and Professional Development

My certifications and professional development include:

  • Powerfully You™ Emotional Learning Curriculum

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

  • Counselling Women in Menopause, Wilfrid Laurier University
