Alanna Davis, OT Reg. (Ont.)

As an OT with 20 years experience, I love supporting adult clients with…

  • New neurodiversity diagnoses

  • Navigating long or short term disability requirements

  • Identifying and advocating for accommodations within the work or school setting

  • And most importantly supporting you in living your best life!

I use a strengths based approach and my treatments draw on opportunities in real life. I’m not trying to change who you are but rather let’s work together to make the world feel like an easier space. Together we will trial different approaches and find the strategies that work best for you! We will explore feelings and emotions that are preventing you from moving towards your values. We will be curious together through the good days and the bad days.

I also provide services in the area of Ergonomics - visiting your home office or workplace to ensure that the environment meets your needs, optimizing productivity and comfort. During these assessments I’ll make changes to your office space, provide education and make product recommendations.

Alanna has certifications in Powerfully You™, MoCA Test, and Project ECHO Occupational & Environmental Medicine. She recently completed a course on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Alanna also completes larger vocational assessments including:

  • Cognitive Work Capacity Assessments

  • Functional Work Capacity Assessments

  • Job Demand Analyses

  • Transferable Skills Analyses

Alanna provides virtual 1:1 services, and in-person ergonomic/vocational assessments.
